Arya Sidharthan
Scientist | DU 6
Arya Sidharthan is an evolutionary biologist who has transitioned into the field of science communication, dedicating her efforts to making scientific knowledge more accessible and engaging for young learners. With a strong academic background in biology and research training as a molecular ecologist, she brings both scientific depth and practical experience to her outreach work.
Specific Interests
- Inclusivity in Science
- National Outreach efforts of IGIB
- Engaging the student community through immersive science outreach programs
Over the years, Arya has actively worked with student communities in schools and colleges, government and non-government organizations helping them explore and understand scientific concepts of ecology and biodiversity. Her sessions often focus on explaining fundamental concepts in biology—such as evolution, genetics, biodiversity, and molecular biology—in a clear, relatable, and interactive manner.
