Joining

You will receive an Offer Letter to join from administration. Please reply within a week from the date of receipt of the offer letter.

Required Forms

Requirements for joining CSIR-IGIB in Projects including NMITLI projects, OLP/MLP, Contract R&D and non-CSIR funded projects. Please submit duly filled following forms:

Note: All original certificates must be brought for verification at the HR Division, Room No. 220, Mall Road Campus, Delhi-110007 or Room No. 140, South Campus (Mathura Road Campus), Delhi-110025.
The candidate's appointment will remain provisional subject to verification of original certificates. Services will be liable to be terminated without assigning any reason if verification reveals false certificates. CSIR-IGIB also reserves its rights to take further action against the candidate for production of false certificates.
Upon successful completion of certificate verification, an office memorandum of joining will be issued. A copy will be sent to your registered email ID.

National Eligibility Tests for Higher Salary of Project Associates

The following National Eligibility Tests are accepted for higher salary of Project Associate-I and Project Associate-II:

  • CSIR-UGC National Eligibility Test including NET-Lectureship
  • Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) conducted by MHRD
  • Joint Admission Test (JAM) conducted by MHRD
  • Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test (GPAT) conducted by MHRD
  • Biotechnology Eligibility Test and Test conducted in Bio-Informatics by Bio-Informatics National Consortium
  • Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) and Joint Graduate Entrance Examination for Biology & Interdisciplinary Life Sciences (JGEEBILS) coordinated by TIFR
  • JRF Entrance Examination conducted by the Indian Council of Medical Research
  • All India Competitive Examination (AICE) conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research
  • The Rajiv Gandhi National Fellowship (RGNF) / National Fellowship for Higher Education of ST Students funded by the Ministry of Tribal Affairs

Scholars selected through National Eligibility Tests — CSIR UGC NET including Lectureship (Assistant Professorship), GATE, and national level examinations conducted by central government departments and agencies such as DBT, DST, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc. — are eligible for higher salary of ₹31,000/- + HRA and ₹35,000/- + HRA respectively.
