Prashant is serving as the Institute’s IP and Technology Licensing Coordinator. He leads institutional efforts at the interface of innovation protection, technology commercialization, collaborative research frameworks and industry engagement, supporting the translation of CSIR-IGIB’s genomics and biomedical research into deployable technologies, diagnostics, and scalable solutions.
His work focuses on enabling structured pathways for science-to-market and science-to-society impact, including intellectual property strategy, licensing execution, collaborative research documentation, and partnership development in alignment with CSIR’s approved mechanisms for research utilization. He supports industry engagement through sponsored and collaborative research programmes, institutional consultancy frameworks, and technical service partnerships, enabling structured translation and deployment of CSIR-IGIB innovations.
In addition, he also facilitates CSR-supported translational programmes and corporate partnerships, enabling industry participation in mission-driven research initiatives that strengthen societal outreach, healthcare innovation, and public impact.
